Toilets / WC – Quick Information

Main Types

  1. Floor-standing toilet (Close-coupled)
Most common — tank sits on the bowl.

  2. Wall-hung toilet
Mounted on the wall — concealed tank — quieter and easier to clean.

  3. One-piece toilet (Monobloc)
Tank and bowl are one unit — fewer leaks.

  4. Rimless toilet
No inner rim — easier to clean, more hygienic.

  5. Macerator toilet (Sanibroyeur)
For places where large drain pipes aren’t possible — uses a grinding pump.

  6. Smart toilet (Japanese style)
Water spray, drying, heated seat — fully automatic.
